Engine Warranty & Claim Policy
Premium Used Auto Parts focuses this warranty on damaged parts or items sent in error, covering parts exclusively. However, no labor costs are covered for any sold items. In the event of a damaged part, the company endeavors to replace it; if no replacement is available, a full refund will be offered. For customers canceling orders without wanting a replacement, a 25% restocking fee and deferred shipping costs for refunds may apply. Likewise, if a customer orders the wrong part and wishes to return it,a 25% restocking fee and deferred shipping costs for refunds may be imposed.Additionally, if a customer orders a part and later decides to cancel the order, a 25%restocking fee may be applied, with the option to defer shipping costs during refund processing.
Engine Warranty Installation Requirements
To ensure your engine warranty remains valid, the following steps must be completed during installation:
Required Replacements & Services
- ✓Replace the timing belt or timing chain, including all tensioners and pulleys.
- ✓Replace all external seals and gaskets, including:
- â—‹Rear main seal
- â—‹Front crank seal
- â—‹Oil pan gasket
- â—‹Valve cover gaskets
- â—‹Oil cooler seals
- ✓Replace the water pump.
- ✓Inspect and replace motor mounts
- ✓Install fresh fluids, including engine oil, coolant, and other required fluids.
Electrical & Mechanical Components
- ✓Replace all switches, sensors, cables, wiring, and electronic components.
- ✓Replace worn or damaged belts and brackets.
- ✓Inspect the flywheel and replace or resurface.
- ✓Replace fuel injectors and glow plugs, especially for diesel engines, while the engine is out of the vehicle.
Warranty Claim Requirements & Responsibilities
In the event of a warranty claim, the following documentation is required:
- An Engine Diagnostic Report from an ASE Certified Automotive Facility.
- An installation guide completed by the mechanic who installed the engine.
- Photos and videos of the installed engine, including:
- A picture of the heat tab
- If there is no compression, a video clearly showing the lack of compression.
